The Letter blade
is Pollaro's newest design. This is a limited edition. Only 150
pieces will be produced; each one number engraved. This design
stems from the Art Deco pieces the Company frequently produces.
The shape of the handle is a series of intersecting subtle curves
that end in a very soft ogee at the base of the handle. This
shape is very pleasing in the hand. You won't want to put it
down. The blade is custom designed to compliment the shape of
the handle. Each blade is hand made to our exact specifications,
by a local metal artist, from a solid piece of stainless steel
that is hand polished to a mirror finish.
The solid Macassar
ebony handle is hand shaped and inlaid with ten sterling silver
dots. Finally the handle is wet oil sanded to 1200 grit, and
then waxed, leaving a soft silky hand feel.
